• From Turin Airport Caselle to the City
- The fastest way to get from the airport to the Conference Centre (approximately 25 km) is by taxi, and the trip takes about 40 minutes. The taxi cost around 45 €, and the taxis can be found outside the arrival terminal.
In addition, here are the numbers of two taxi services:
- Radio Taxi: Phone number:+39.011.5730
- Pronto Taxi: Phone number+39.011.5737
- A bus service is also available at the airport. The ticket costs 5,50 € (one-way fare) and takes about 40 minutes to the main city station named “FS Stazione Porta Nuova”.
You can find on line timetables and more information on the SADEM website.
From “Stazione Porta Nuova” to the Conference Centre you need then to take bus n. 1 or 18 or 35 to go. It takes about 20 minutes.
You can find on line more information on the GTT website.
The bus tickets cost 1 €, and can be purchased in one of the newsstands, bars or in one of the small tobacco stores with a big “T” as a sign. Tickets cannot be bought onboard.
When you get on the tram or the bus, you have to punch the ticket before the first stop.
The tickets are valid for 70 minutes.
- There is also a train service, but it is not convenient as it stops in a minor station and it is necessary to then take the bus or taxi to reach the Conference Centre.
